Mythology and Folklore– I always love reading about mythology, especially the fantasy beasts that they encompass, and the differing Gods, thats awesome.

Do you study the tarot? I have a whole box of tarot cards, though I do not know how to read them, I use them to come up with ideas, I first read about this in Holly lisle’s create a plot clinic, its a great way to come up with fresh ideas. I really love one of my decks because each card seems to have its own story, and it gets me all excited, lol.

Other writers writing processes is also very fascinating. I don’t think there is one writer that does things completely the same. I think that is so totally awesome!

Blackfire- How cool about using your tarot deck for plotting! Addmittingly, I have yet to study it for myself, but I’ve always found it fascinating. I’m thinking about getting a deck and how-to book. Would you recommend any one in particular?

  3. Blackfire Says:

Well, I’m not too sure about how to books, but when you find a good one fancy giving me the title? But I will tell you the different decks that I have well the three that are actual decks, I love the pictures on one, but there is another that is my absolute favourite the graphics are gorgeous and I can feel the story in them!

    The decks I have are:

    - Healing with the angles oracle cards
    - Magical unicorns oracle cards (very nice pictures!)
    - And last but not least — Dragons tarot (my very faveourite, I really love this deck and I highly recommend it.)

But before you go out and buy a deck check out this website http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/ it will allow you to look at some of the decks, plus it has reviews and what not on it! That was how I came by the Dragons tarot. The rest were given to me.

Photograpgy and film = LOVE = My World Goes Round.
And the violin is uber cool - though I’m pretty sure I don’t have the patience to learn how to play. I’ll try my hand at the piano again…eventually.
Artwork - most def. When I get my house I’m going to fill it with paintings and other art pieces - I’ll probably end up with a mini museum in my home.
    Mythology and astrology = coolness.
Politic’s = not so much. I know there is good reason to follow politics, but I feel as though it’s not *that* important. People lose themselves in politcs. Of course I don’t mean all people, and I know i’ve left alot of room upon for a counter attack - but its just a gut feeling and those aren’t meant to be explained.

Blackfire- @Certinaly about sharing the title of good how-to books! And thank you for the site, I’ll definately check those out!

Geegee- You’re absolutely right about people getting lost in politics. I too tend to take your stance on it about it not being important. I’d rather just ask why we all can’t just get along already? But what I should have said was I’m interested in the “psychology” behind politics. I wonder why certian places are runned certian ways, why they have the customs and so on that they do, that sort of thing. Oh and about your future mini museum. You do know you’re inviting me over for the unveiling, yes? I want first dibs on seeing it….well…okay….first dibs AFTER ‘T’ on seeing it!
