While I do I agree with the description. (yes, even the “moves slowly” part) I’m not in any way, shape, form, or fashion a mornning person. In fact, anytime before 10 A.M. feels like an ungodly hour of the day and even that’s pushing it.

Haha, I am not a morning person when I have to talk to other people, I tend to be quite grouchy, but I have found that the early morning is my faveourite time to work on my WIPs and my most productive time of the day.

Ditto your first sentence. I’ve actually be trying to test out working early in the mornning so far with little success (actually waking up at an “early” hour that is ), I’m gonna keep trying though.

Well at the moment its school holidays so I am finding it very hard to get up, but usually I am awake by 5.50am so that I can get ready, and have some time to wake up before I drag my butt to school.

I feel your pain….or atleast I did last year. Are you graduating soon?
April 21, 2008 at 4:47 am
Yeah, I have two more terms left, and then I do my HSC so that I can find out my UAI to go to university. Then if everything goes acording to plan and I am able to get a scholarship, I will be going off the university next year. I’m using my writing to create a portfolio so that I can do my bachelor of arts degree with a major in writing. One day I hope to be an editor, and be a publisher!

lol, and here I wake up at 6:30am every morning =P
April 21, 2008 at 5:50 pm
Song of the Siren- I adore your username. But oh your waking hours, they pain me!
April 21, 2008 at 7:30 pm
Blackfire- That sounds wonderful! Do you have a particular University in mind?
April 21, 2008 at 7:34 pm
I want to go to UNE in Armidale. That is close to home, though I will freeze to death! You can get me up early, take me where it is boiling hot, but I hate the cold! I nearly die in winter where I live and it doesn’t even snow! Lol, but I really want this, and if you want something you work to make it happen… well I do anyway.
April 21, 2008 at 7:58 pm
I’m also not a morning person. I speak in monosyllable, grunt type answers in the morning and thinking is pain so I try not to. *grin*
Agreed with Soleil, Good luck Blackfire!
Soleil your avater is cool and disturbing all at once.
April 21, 2008 at 8:58 pm
Thanks. And I can relate to the whole monosyllable grunt, pain thing in the morning. I do get up fairly early when its not holidays so that I can write before I go to school.

Wolo- Heh heh, you’re not the first person to have said that. I’m oddly pleased by the mixed reaction. I love photomanipulation, though my skills at it leave much to be desired.
Blackfire- I’m your polar opposite. Being from the Bahamas, I can’t STAND the heat! I’d rather be cold than hot. Maybe we should trade places? *snerk*

I’ve tried writing early in the morning, someone accidentally read it once and now I hide when I hear sirens.
I’ve got to side with Blackfire on this one. I loathe the cold with every fibre of my being. So it really sucks that I live in the frigid northern tundra that is Canada. *cries* Is it too much to ask for an actual summer?!
April 21, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Oh, do I ever hear you on that one! I have to be at work so early I catch the sunrise most days — and in the dead of winter, I don’t even see the sun in the mornings. It’s inhumane.
April 21, 2008 at 11:10 pm
Canada? I envy you so hard, Wolo.
You both should vacation here. We’ve got nothing but beaches, ocean and sun.
April 22, 2008 at 12:51 am
Oh, we have plenty of oceans, I live on the coast of Australia, so it is not cold by any means, just me being a little frog, wear ten layers at the end of summer, and twenty four through the middle, I get cold, and yes people laugh when I walk into a building looking like the new year blimp, but I am warm…
But Armidale, well that is a different thing altogether, apparantly is snows there. I have never seen snow in my whole entire life, and I wonder if I really want to see snow, it would be so cold. I wished I lived in a volcano, then I would never be cold again.
I had a friend who lived in Canada, she still does but we don’t talk any more, she came over to live in Australia for a year, she was pretty cool.

The cold probably got her Blackfire. I’m sorry.
Well since you offered I’ll be packing a suitcase Soleil and heading up. You have a spare couch yes? I may never leave it if it’s really warm. ; P
Blackfire I’m the same. I wear pants and jackets in the dead of “summer” and when people look at me strangely I look strangely right back at them. Almost everyone here is descended from polar bears or something. I don’t even know why stores carry shorts. It’s much too cold to wear them. But I’m not bitter!
April 22, 2008 at 11:10 am
@ Caryn that’s just evil. To be up that early! *pat pat pat* We need to take back the later hours of the day! Start work days at noon! Viva sleeping in!
April 22, 2008 at 12:28 pm
Caryn- That does sound inhumane! Although, I imagine the sunrise over there is beautiful, that must get monotonous real quick.
Wolo- *snerk @ descendance from polar bears* I remember when I went to Savannah for the summer and was wearing black all through. The people there were asking, “Aren’t you hot?”, “Not really.” It wasn’t half as bad as it gets down here sometimes.
April 23, 2008 at 1:48 am
You went to the Savannah? Oh how I envy you, such a warm climate!
April 23, 2008 at 5:06 am
Actually, I meant Savannah, Georgia.
*head-meet-mr.-desk* Must be more clear when I type things.
April 23, 2008 at 7:49 am
Lol, oh well, I’m sure it was just as awesome! ^_^
